While on Patrol with Caradawc on sunday morning a group of well armed, well disiplined, although fairly odd mix of races (some more than one race) appeared in the transport circle. Although they were led by Talesin, we did not rule the chance of attack (we're scouts, paranoia helps us live longer!). The guard at the transport circle interrogated them as to their business, as myself and Caradawc watched from a nearby rocky outcrop. We recognised one of armengars oldest scouts in their midst, this did put us at ease somewhat, although it was the one with that bloody sleepwalking problem!!
After a period of no more than 10 minutes the headed off towards the Citadel escorted by the Circle guard, which reminds me,Fraoch we must discuss with Corthar about the defensive ring that has been proposed around the transport circle, more on that later. Myself and Caradawc followed them easily towards the citadel, they may have an apparent strong offensive capability but they appear overconfident and do not guard their rear at all! When they neared the citadel they were approached by Amos,Chareos,Corthar and a few others. We observed from a safe distance and took the time to gather the some information on the Tribe (as they call themselves), see end of report.
After much discussion, Zurgulal walked straigh over to my concealed position and motioned for me to attend Chareos (for some reason no matter how well we cover our tracks or conceal our positions, Zurgulal will always find us!). I went to Chareos, where i was introduced to the Male leader of the tribe. They were deep in discussion about the Tribes offer to help train Armengar for a more offensive role in upcoming battles. I was not content with Talesins recommendation so I challenged their leader to prove himself in combat. He is a good Fighter although a little impeteous and too eager, but eventually he got the better of me, I have spent too much time in the Trees as of late and will have to rehone my skills. The Tribe have been allowed to stay on our Island under the following conditions
They will be given land and a small copse of trees, for food, shelter and warmth. They will be fed until their crops are due for harvest but they will have to work for this food. They will be assisting Corthar in the defensive perimeter around the transport circle, He shall be forwarding plans soon. They are not allowed within 2 arrows range of the citadel, but if their leaders are requesting an audience they can approach with a red flag held high and no weapons visible. They will be subject to all our laws while on our lands but they also rule themselves by their own laws. For any further information contact myself or Caradawc
Here is a brief observation of the Tribe
